Vertical
Limit, the most intense movie I have ever seen. If your one who like thrillers,
suspense, or climbing, than this movie is for you. This movie will have you at
the edge of your seat literally the whole movie. It begins with a brother
sister and father, stuck in a sticky situation on a climb in the dessert. A mistake
during this climb will ruin the relationship between these two siblings until his
sister gets stuck on one of the toughest and biggest mountains to climb, K2. It
is a race up the mountain to save her life while they have to deal with
everything that could possibly go wrong. I mean it, by the time I was ¾’s the
way through the movie I was guessing what would happen next. The only way I was
able to do this is because I knew something terrible and awful would happen.
Besides
that it was pretty good action, and good effects for a movie that was made in
the year 2000. I personally think they did a great job for the technology they
had at that time period, obviously it is no avatar but it’s a good thriller
with special effects. I am trying to think of movies that I could compare this
movie to for you guys, but I really can’t think of one. The movie only got a
rating of 5.6 out of 10 on imbd.com, that being said, I think it is because it’s
a little corny and outrageous. From my point of view I agree with those characteristics,
but I also think it is a very unique movie, unlike anything I have seen before.
So if you’re in the mood to watch a movie that is unique, intense, action
packed, and nothing like you have seen before Vertical Limit is a good choice.
